Terms and Conditions

The hereby-mentioned terms and conditions are applicable to all transactions carried out on the site www.lapalettegourmande.com. Carrying a transaction via the present site implies an unreserved acceptance of the terms and conditions. La Palette Gourmande reserves the right to modify its terms and conditions and its fees at any moment without notice. However, the terms and conditions applicable are those applied at the time of your transaction.


Pricing

All the prices are in Canadian dollars. All the prices are subject to changes without notice. The transportation costs and the applicable taxes are extra. For all orders shipping within Quebec, the applicable taxes are the TPS (5%) and the TVQ (9,975%). The promotions offered on the website and in store are not necessarily the same.

 

Orders

We take orders online on our website www.lapalettegourmande.com 24/7, and in our store, which will be open Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 10am to 7pm, Sundays from 11am to 6pm and Mondays by appointment.

Method of Payment

We accept payments by credit cards (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) via PayPal.

In order to pay using a gift-card, please communicate with us before ordering. 

 

Order Pick-up

Your order will be ready to be picked-up in store two working days after the transaction to be picked-up. For example, if you place your order on our website Monday before midnight, your order will be ready to be picked up in store Wednesday, during our opening hour, at the hour you will have specified.

We believe that the key to preserving our flavours is in freshly prepared meals, which is why we cook as we receive the orders.

Availability of Delicatessen Products

Our inventory is updated on a regular basis and as faithfully as possible, but an error is not impossible. If an article you desire to acquire is unavailable, please contact us to find out the future availabilities.

If you have ordered an article and it is no longer available, we will inform you. If we are unable to receive it within a reasonable time, we will notify you upon its reception or you will be able to cancel your order, with neither fees nor penalties, and will be reimbursed 100%.

For articles on special or liquidation, all orders are subject to the availability of the products.

 

Product Presentation

The images of the products presented on our Internet website are as faithful as possible to reality. However, there could be slight differences in proportions and colors.

So as to suggest a type of presentation reproduce at home, the photos present ornamentations, garnishes and accessories not included with the sale.  Please read the list of ingredients to know the exact composition of the product you are purchasing.

  

Reimbursement

In general we will not reimburse; we will provide assets for your future purchases in case of merchandise return or cancelling of an order

However there are some exceptions

  • The annulment  of an order before midnight of the day you placed said order
  • The return of a delicatessen product in its original packaging within 5 days

The original receipt is necessary, requests will not be processed without the original receipt.

Gift cards are non returnable and non refundable.

 

Canceling or Modifying an Internet order

If you cancel your order before midnight of the day you placed your order you will be completely reimbursed.

If you wish to modify your order before midnight of the day you placed your order, cancel your order and place a new order.

Any cancelation after midnight of the day you placed your order cannot be reimbursed.

 

 

Merchandise Return

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase of a delicatessen product, you will be able to return the products (with a few exceptions), within 5 days of the purchase. How? You will need to communicate with us before returning the merchandise in order for us to authorize it. We will refuse all products for which we have not granted return authorization. The product must be returned in its original packaging, intact and unused, in perfect condition for resale. The shipping fees for a return are at the expense of the Client and we will refuse any package that has not been paid for. We are not responsible for packages lost or damaged during transport when an article is being returned.

For hygienic purposes and for your safety, we do not accept returns for fresh or frozen products. In such a case, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase please contact us. Each situation will be analysed on a case-by-case basis.

Gift cards are non returnable and non refundable.

For articles at a discount, on sale or in liquidation, all purchases will be final and we will not accept returns.

 

Billing Error

Although we strive to maintain the information on our site up to date, in case of a price or billing error, La Palette Gourmande reserves the right to cancel or to reimburse entirely an order judged erroneous.

 

Confidentiality

The confidentiality of your personal information is very important to us. All information given while ordering will be kept confidential and will not be transmitted, exchanged, rented or sold to a third-party. All the information asked while ordering will be necessary in order to identify you and we guarantee you a good personalised service, for the purchase as well as for the delivery.

We retain no information on your credit card. Transactions by credit card will be done via the bank provider’s system rather than our own.
